Rahul Shrivastava was born in Chhattisgarh State in Central India. He spent his younger years growing up in Odisha State, but now lives in Delhi, India, with his wife and their two children.

He attended Ravenshaw University in Cuttack and the National Institute of Technology, Raurkela both of which are in Odisha State.

Rahul’s work, as a diplomat, has taken him to many interesting places and at the age of 40 he became India’s then youngest appointed Ambassador.

His other great love is for writing, however, starting at a young age, when he and his friends published their own magazine. He has since penned several books which include several works of fiction and one narrative self-help, non-fiction title.

In his spare time Rahul loves cooking, with Indian food being his favorite. He also relaxes by painting landscapes using oil on canvas. Not surprisingly, he also likes to travel and has visited some forty countries so far.

As far as the future is concerned, Rahul wants to continue writing, sharing his loves and experiences with a wide audience.
